Scope :
• Technical Support engineer is responsible for providing technical support to HP customers.
• He/She will be required to work in shifts and can be aligned to any of these geographies:
- AME ( America )
- UK&I ( United Kingdom & Ireland )
- RSA ( Republic of South Africa )
- INDIA
- SEA/SPR (Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand).
Key Responsibilities :
• Generally responsible for resolving operating system / Hardware (Desktops/Notebooks) & Network related issues.
• Expected to follow the Work Instructions as per geography to meet operational metrics.
• Expected to provide E2E support to customers for better customer experience.
• Take calls from Global customers and initiate the right response to them, positively and professionally
• Deal with a wide range of products using a powerful information database
• Provide remote solutions to problems, probe problems and explain the solution in such a way that non-technical users understand.
• Graduate in any discipline ( BE/ B.Tech/ MCA, MSc, B.Sc, BCA, etc )Only for 2012 Batch.
Desired Skills & Knowledge :
• Technical Support Engineer should be well versed with operating systems and Hardware Components.
• He /She should upgrade technical skills with changing technology and should acquire technical certifications as per the business & career development.
